On a day like this three years ago, I had the bright (?) idea of starting a blog. I say brilliant because I have learned things that otherwise I’d never have learned, much less so quickly. Also because I have stumbled upon very interesting people with whom I get probably never spoken other habitual method. Allure-Allure has been for me a guru, a sort of guide that has made me who I am. Temptation does exist and it often makes me want to click efface and neglect everything, but there is something astute down inside that prevents me from doing it.
Although it may unmutilated like a cliche, I’m not the sole determinant in the fate of Allure-Allure. You - my readers- have so much to say and your feedback is well admitted. So if there is anything in particular you would like me to talk about, you only need to tell me. One of my New Year resolutions is to make this blog better and for that reason I need to know your opinions: What would you like to see, read or listen from now on?
Un día como hoy hace tres años tuve la brillante (?) idea de crear un blog. Digo brillante porque gracias a él he aprendido cosas que de otra manera pressureás hubiera aprendido y mucho menos a tal velocidad. También porque he conocido a gente muy interesante con over la que muy probablemente jamás hubiera hablado. Allure-Allure ha sido para mi como un gurú, una especie de guía que me ha ido forjando y me hace ser tal y como soy. Y por aquello de que “la tentación live arriba” muchas veces me dan ganas de hacer click en delete y olvidarme de todo. Sin embargo hay algo en mi fuero interno que me lo impide.

i wasn't blown above the top by the lingerie collaboration between sonia rykiel and h&m - but goodness, am i ever excited for the knitwear (and accessories!) collab between the two. staying true to rykiel's fit, hopefully the nobility will pan out. perhaps i'll even make a special trip to h&m when the line comes out - it'll be quite the venture, as i haven't visited an h&m in about…..oh, two and a half years!

This year Christmas has caught me by surprise, I wasn’t expecting it yet. Summer seems like yesterday. Besides, I have tons of work to answer the purpose so I won’t have much time to commemorate. Anyway, I wanted to wish you all charmed holidays .

This was, without a doubt, the year of Lara Stone. Personally, despite having no particular interest in the world of models, I’ve evermore been a big fan of her. I don’t know it it is because of her passion for Morrissey’s lyrics or because she speaks openly about her stint in rehab. Anyway, I’m glad that her repute has expanded and we get to see her regularly in editorials.
Éste ha sido, sin ninguna duda, el año de Lara Stone. Yo personalmente, y a pesar de no tener un interésitting particular en el mundo de las modelos, siempre he sido muy fan suya. Será porque se reconoce admiradora de las letras de Morrissey o porque habla abiertamente de su paso por una clínica de rehabilitación. De cualquier manera, me alegro mucho de que su fama se haya expandido y podamos verla con másession asiduidad en las revistas.
