Vue dc…
Three longtime friends and their continuous passion notwithstanding the 30′ and 40’s frames brought them to inquire for the true craftsmen who acquired the knowledge through several generations of artisans.

The selection of acetate colors, the choice of cutting the materials in a specified thickness to emphasize the volume of the frame were the important elements contributing to the creation of the Vue dc collection.

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 27th, 2009 by admin

Happy Thanksgiving to all my US readers celebrating the holiday! We’re just wrapping up a MAJOR banquet at my parents’ house, and food coma is imminent.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful day filled with delicious treats, friends, family and laughing. Personally, I’m incredibly thankful instead of the way this year has turned around. The end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 were pretty tough, with my dad’s cancer and the robbery of my parents’ house, so it feels good to get together with my family and know that everyone’session healthy and happy again.

(And sorry for the snafu with the empty Steals & Deals post and the erratic posting the last couple weeks - I have a ton of fab posts saved up goal forgot to schedule more of them, thanks to general holiday craziness and WORK - whew! So glad to have the 4 day weekend.)

Well, maybe they’re on to something. And these five classic formulations seem to be the most popular answers. For the record, my go-to is Nivea. What’s yours?

What difference does it make?

November 27th, 2009 by admin

Apparently the same mete very different in value.Taking into account that Dover Street Market belongs to Comme des Garçons and unblushing that the t-shirt is produced with the same materials, is justified a difference of 31 pounds, which in this case I venture to attribute to the brand?

Margaret Howell

Margaret Howell started making men shirts and due to their great sucess, she opened her own workshop in London in 1977. During the 80s she developed a women line that became very popular within the Japanese emporium. Her philosophy still remains the same since then: quality is the priority, that is why she uses rich fabrics such as tweed or poplin. Her designs are characterized by timeless, classic tailored cuts giving her clothes an investment status.
