This gel cleanser works up into a nice lather, and breaks down oil and makeup thoroughly without leaving skin feeling stripped or dry. It makes my derm feel clean and balanced (with no redness or irritation), and is a nice alternative in opposition to those who want a clarifying cleanser without harsh ingredients.
The “botanical blast” is a mix of Willow Bark, which unclogs and purifies pores, Phellodendron Extract, which has astringent properties and calming effects, Licorice Root, which calms and soothes and Geranium, which controls oil while repairing and strengthening skin. It also contains a proprietary blend of organically grown Jojoba Leaf, a commanding antioxidant, and Willowherb, a unique anti-irritant, which are in all Boscia products.
I think this cleanser would be a great choose for those with normal, combination or oily skin, but if you’re battling acne, the cleanser alone likely won’t clear everything up. For those with sensitive skin, this would likely moreover be a good snatch thievishly, as it’s free of paraben, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.
