Let’s hear it for Chris March, the darling teddy bear of Project Runway Season 4. The crowd went wild when he came out this morning and his collection was, well, a little wild! Yak-hair sleeves? Really? There were a few pieces that were very much off the mark, but others were decadent and glamorous, particularly the silk-screened dresses. And look! • An incognito PETA operative posing as a style-maven turned up at Donna Karan’s Manhattan home on Wednesday; the undercover “agent” was invited in, offered a beverage, and when Donna came home, shoved a portable DVD player with footage of animals being slaughtered alive for their pelts in the designer’s face. Said Donna, “I’ve seen all these [videos], but for me it’s just purses and accessories.” [Page Six]

I couldn’t help noticing the ad for RSVP Kenneth Cole. It stars a very yummy looking Jon Bon Jovi. I’m a little young to have really had the hots for JBJ back in the day but he has aged remarkably well. The tagline is “Did you rock someone’s world” and Bon Jovi is straightening his skinny tie with his untucked shirt to affirm that yes, he did just rock someone’s world. sex-ay!

But it gets better: A portion of the proceeds from the sales of RSVP Kenneth Cole will be donated to HELP USA and The Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation - up to a maximum donation of $250,000 total. Awww. This sophisticated masculine scent blends lavender and orchid with sandalwood and cedarwood. The bottle, like Bon Jovi himself, is purdy.
I’m not sure why the taglines hint (as well as the pictures) that there has been some sort of sexual healing going on, yet it’s actually for a charity. What do you think - sexy or skeevy?

Forget the crying; now Hillary Clinton is getting guff for clapping too much… or at all. Chris Matthews of MSNBC’s Hardball — Clinton-critic and enemy to women everywhere — was the first (or at least, the most vocal) to get on the presidential candidate for her predilection for making some noise. Really, Ann Romney? A white suit? Like you weren’t white enough already? Like you weren’t already so white you actually managed to be too white for the Republican Party? The Romneys sort of remind me of a really hot student dentist I went to once, who told me I had six cavities but that he didn’t want to fill any of them until I used a teeth-bleaching kit — he made the mold for me for free and everything! — so that my teeth would match the filling. He showed me a strip of colors, each representing a different shade of teeth whiteness. “See the whitest white?” he asked. “This bleaching kit will actually get you whiter than the whitest white on this paper. My teeth are actually three shades whiter than the whitest white. And your teeth could be at least two shades whiter!” “Uh, do you also drink five cups of coffee a day, guy?” I asked.
