Celebrity Rehab is a really raw show that actually goes there. During the group therapy session, Jeff Conway disclosed one of the demons haunting him — as a young boy, he’d been sexually abused and it was filmed, making him the subject in a piece of child pornography. After that confessional, the gang had a BBQ pool party. Mary Carey jumped into the pool in a wife beater with no bra, which Daniel Baldwin said made him and his wife so uncomfortable that he needed to leave the rehab facility. Daniel, however, had been coming up with a slew of excuses to leave the facility on day trips for a while, so blaming his final exit on a woman swimming in a tank top seemed not only low, but a lie. Suspicions were confirmed after he left, when Mary admitted that Daniel had been sending her (what we assume are naked) pictures of himself after lights out, and asking her to do the same. What an asshole pig!

So on this episode, it was visitor’s day. Look who came to see Mary: Penny/Hope from Showgirls!

>> Winner of the cool set design award goes to: Y-3.  The runway was lined with floor-to-ceiling thin bricks of ice, which dripped down and made for a wet catwalk.  For those who got chilly, the PR team was kind enough to hand out hand-warmers and fuzzy Y-3 blankets.

Talking Makeup had the honor to be invited to the exclusive Victoria’s Secret Superbowl Gifting Suite at the Sanctuary Hotel in Phoenix Arizona.  The invite came from the team of Victoria’s Secret Beauty team in New York City.  I met the lovely Allison Greenberg manger of VS Public Relations who was just so cool and great to talk to, and the equally lovely, A.J. Nicholas. (I apologize for the quality of photos, my camera was mysteriously set on a weird night setting that made all pics blurry).

Finally, a (PRODUCT) RED™ that is not in red color. I don’t dark brown color plus double-sided, seamless front-back print of nature art theme would less “red”-ness of this tee. Oh yeah, too much bright red is killing me eyes.

a quick rundown of the latest from new york.

my opinion, thus far - is that the looks coming down most of the runways are of a slightly more ladylike and refined ilk. and this is not to say that i find the ladylike and refined to be a bit of a bore, as i do believe you can be both modern and sophisticated without succumbing to the laura ashley mindset… it’s just that my socks haven’t been knocked off… as of yet. i’m keeping my mind very open and keeping patient…
