I just found out I am going to a super formal, super exciting, SUPER AWESOME dinner THIS WEEKEND. I don’t have anything to wear! Help! I would like something long, price range is kind of open, but the cheaper the better. Can you help?

Above - we love this gold dress from A.B.S. It’s simple, it’s cheery, it’s long. Cowlnecks are flattering on EVERYONE, and the price is fantastic.
Gold Metallic Cowlneck, $135.99
Another A.B.S dress - this one might be a bit more forgiving in the fit than the gold one. The deep v-neck looks great on all sizes, the belt gives waist detail, and we like that the skirt isn’t super snug on the hips. We also think everyone looks awesome in this color.
Silver Satin Bow Gown, $239.99
We love J.Crew so much. This dress looks REALLY wedding-y in white, but in brown or black, perfect for an evening affair. Plus, we have never had bad luck with J.Crew shipping or returns or sizing, so they’re a pretty awesome standby.
Sophia Long Silk Dress, $225
We really like this J.Crew dress too, but it’s final sale. We once had a bad experience with final sale where we gave the sales person the measurements of a J.Crew dress we had, and told them we would like a dress that fit the same way. We bought the dress - 2, in fact - and they didn’t fit at all. But whatever.
Goddess Long Dress, $160
Anyone have any other places KC can look?
