Check out this article on Planet Green about how to have great looking skin the natural way. Sounds very similar to what someone else I know said a while ago…hint, hint. Nothing I said was revolutionary or new, it’s information that is readily available but people just choose to ignore it. Maybe if it comes from a more reputable source, as opposed to me who is barely credible, more people will take note. Although I’m thinking it’s like preaching to the choir. People who eat Fritos and drink Coke and Red Bull daily aren’t likely to be on Planet Green or TreeHugger. I hate to generalize but you know I’m right. Send the article to someone you know would never read it on their own and see what they think. Be the sweet fragrance that draws people near. Don’t be the foul stench.

![The Men Of The Australian Open Serve Good ‘Sex Face’ [You Got Served]](http://citypeoplefashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/139581.jpg)
Yesterday we talked about what the women are wearing at the Australian Open. The men deserve equal time, but their outfits are boring. So, instead of fashion, we’re focusing on fucking. As in sex faces. How do these guys score when they, um, score? Find out, after the jump.

In today’s Reader Mail:
Dear Bunnyshop:
I absolutely have to know the answer to this: nail polish, yea or nay? I never have, but my boyfriend recently told me: clean ’em or polish ’em. (He can be a real jackass sometimes.) What do you do? What does everyone else do?
Love,
A.

We don’t know if you’re watching Mad Men—it’s brilliant but BOY is there a lot of bad behavior in it. Like, so much that it makes us want to leave New York and live in a casita in Mexico without TV or Internet. Anyway, for all that, it is brilliant, and the wardrobe is unbelievable gorgeous. We just thought we’d put up a few stills from what was really this amazing tracking shot as we see all these women waiting for a modeling appointment.
We think our favorite is the tight blue dress, or the sparkly one, or the high-waisted mustard pants. We like them all. As usual.

I don’t care what anybody says, I love my Floral tops, heh. Here’s a couple more I bought along with the Hot Tempered Blue floral top I bought a week ago.
1st Floral Top : Another one from Hot Tempered. This is fuschia, scooped neck and a solid brown color wide-sash belt that ties around the back. It used to be $30, I only paid $7.90.

For three weeks before she moved to Southern California from San Francisco, Meredith dated Paul. “Un-exclusively.” And because it is inevitably in those situations when a girl believes that she is entering an unambiguously noncommittal no-strings fling that she finds a guy who is ready to purchase adjacent cemetery plots with her, she had to break it off a few days before she left. He didn’t exactly take it lightly. But it wasn’t until she told him that an ex-boyfriend of hers with whom she was still friends would be helping her move — and I’m sorry, in situations like this you almost have to call up any borderline sane ex you have, just to assure you that the vast incongruity in your respective levels of perceived intimacy isn’t an outgrowth of you having no soul — that Paul really went nuts, texting Meredith that she was “evil” and “a dirty little slut.” (She writes: “He also used the phrase “for shame.”) Shame indeed!

At the beginning of January, BG and I evaluated our New Years Eve celebration on the phone. (We like to evaluate all our activities in great detail. Sometimes our talks are even longer than the actual events!) Then we decided to set out our new year’s resolution. Reading back on my 2007 resolutions, I cannot imagine what I was thinking back then so this year, I wanted the resolutions to be beneficial and somewhat achieveable. I think I should admit here that I write new year’s resolutions mostly for the fun of it and not 100% because I spend my whole year slaving over them.
So anyways, I suggested one of my last year’s resolution for both BG and me, but we modified it: “Aim to sleep before 1a.m. -For the nights I’m not out.” I added the last remark to make it realistically achieveable. And it’s not like I’m out much anyways, so it’s ok.
Usually I’m not one to broadcast my resolutions, but since I think some of you out there might benefit from it, I thought I would share it and maybe you would consider it too. I take skincare pretty seriously. After washing my face at night, I always put on eye moisturiser, (I’m currently using the two in the picture above.) And while this may seem like the norm to many of you, I know people who actually don’t use eye moisturiser. Anyways, so in the past few years, I usually go to bed from 2am-6am -not exactly healthy. There are always emails to check, youtube to watch, Facebook to stalk (uh hum, BG,) random sites to surf, books to read…… You get my point. And while it was totally fine and not os obvious when I was younger, I’ve noticed that when I sleep very late now, the skin around my eyes have starting to age. Think dark circles, puffy eyebags and most scarily, fine lines. So in an attempt to stop all these from happening so soon (-I’m not that old!), I have decided to really try sleeping before 1, or erm, maybe at 2.What are your beauty-related New Year resolutions? It isn’t a horrid rainy day but a misty hazy grey rainy day. As soon as that sort of light wispy rain falls where you don’t actually need an umbrella but rather you, walk through and it feels like those Evian spray mists are constantly on you, I think about wanting to re-watch my ultimate late childhood film ‘Only Yesterday’ or in Japanese ‘Omohide Poro Poro’, directed by Hotaru Okamoto released by Studio Ghibli (of the more famous Hayao Miyazaki films…). People have their own definitive ‘coming of age’ films and this was one of mine. It’s an animated film that touches on subjects that are most definitely adult, about a girl who can’t quite get let go of her childhood and all the memories that she has from it. It borders on being a bit Judy Blume-esque with its talk of menstruation, blushing boy crushes and sisterly jealousy but it’s all still done with reassuring innoncent prettiness in the only way that Studio Ghibli does. A DVD that definitley needs to be stowed away for days like these whilst drinking fruit tea and eating something homemade.
