LG’s P300 U 13.3-inch laptop headed for the States

Sure, those models might look Korean, but this laptop is headed for the US of A in 2008. We spotted it last month in its native habitat, but LG just announced that the P300 U will be coming our way this year at CES. The highlight of this skinny and light laptop is the 13.3-inch LED backlit screen, running at 1280 x 800 pixels, but the 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 2GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M graphics, HDMI out, 1.3 megapixel webcam and built-in WWAN all pitch in to make this one attractive 3.5 pound portable. No word on price or exact availability just yet.

Let’s Get This O-ver With
So a couple of days ago I walked into Sephora for the first time in what seemed like ages, and the first thing I saw was Smashbox O-Gloss.

This was not a good way to start off the new year.

Our (Probably Soon To Be Forgotten) Beauty Resolutions

Our (Probably Soon To Be Forgotten) Beauty Resolutions

You know, we don’t mind saying that we got up yesterday morning, looked in the mirror and were all, "Holy fuck, that is just not acceptable." (Note that this did not stop us from going to a meeting looking exactly like that. You ask us, anyone who schedules a business meeting for a Sunday is going to have to take us at our second best.)

Anyway: We are big believers in the post-holiday season: the sales, the (slightly) longer days, the lead-up to spring (and most glorious of all, summer), and, of course, correcting all that holiday season excess. What can we say: We’re Puritans. But it is, obviously, not too late for resolutions. It is, in fact, precisely the right time for them, now that the holidays are officially done with and getting down to work and all that. Like we said, we’re Puritans, and that work ethic tells us that if we keep working at this, everything gets better. It’s the American dream, we’re thinking. Getting on with it, our beauty-specific resolutions for 2008. Of course, we’d love to hear yours.

Exotic or Romantic? Armani Prive Serves Up the Royal Treatment [The Latest Luxe]

January 7th, 2008 by admin

If you’re searching for a mystical scent as a fresh start to Spring season, reach for the royal treatment from Giorgio Armani.

The Armani Prive collection offers a mix of Egyptian jasmine, patchouli, amber, and rose of bulgary in the Eclat de Jasmine (romantic), or an exotic aroma with the Ambre Soie blend (energy).

But it’s not necessarily the scent that will have you enamored:

Fendi Patent Perforated Sandal [ShoeBlitz - Shoe Fashions]

These shoes are red hot! This Fendi Patent Perforated Sandal features a sexy stiletoo heel and losts of style. I just love the skinny decorative buckle across the vamp.

The perforations give these sandals a little extra kick. These are perfect shoes for an evening out dancing or any other hot date.

Count Your Calories Online For Free With FitWatch [Burning The Scale]
I’m really not the kind of person who is obsessed with how many calories she’s eating. Maybe that’s my problem, LOL. Well, sometimes I look at a food label and decide, “oh ok, this muffin is 500 calories, I’ll only eat half”. But like I said, I don’t pay attention to it that much. I found this website called Fit Watch where it has a page of calorie counting so I thought I’d take a peak. The page has a lot of food categories if you’re ever curious as to how many calories you’re about to partake in. For example, pork. It’s my favorite meat therefore I love bacon in my Saturday morning breakfast with the family. 1 package(12 oz) of bacon has 779 calories. Yikes. Good thing I only eat 3 strips a week. Or another 3 on Sundays. Whewww.

There are all sorts of categories that you might be interested in checking out. So here it is again. Fit Watch. Here’s to the beginning of my calorie counting obsession. OI!
