Spring Collections: Bobbi Brown Pink Raspberry

Yesterday we looked at the latest and greatest in Bobbi’s hit palette parade, and today I’ve got the whole collection of pretty pink goodies for spring.

The colors in the Pink Raspberry collection pull no punches - they’re pure, blue-based, cool pinks, true to their berry namesake. Perfect for those of us whose skin tends to pick up even the slightest little twinge of orange - certainly no risk of that with this collection.

RIP Elisa

RIP Elisa
By the way, we meant to say this yesterday, but how clear is it that as soon as the Project Runway contestant starts talking about her near-death experience, she’s totally getting kicked?

Poor, injured Elisa. We’d so much rather it had been Victorya.

Project Runway: The Candy Challenge Doesn’t End Sweetly For Elisa Or Us [Clips]

Project Runway: The Candy Challenge Doesn’t End Sweetly For Elisa Or Us [Clips]
With Elisa gone, is Project Runway worth watching at all anymore? Well, yes, and here’s two reasons: Heidi Klum and Michael Kors. Can’t they just be in the entire thing? Or can’t they just have their own spin-off, where she makes jokes and he laughs hysterically at them? And who knew Zac Posen was such a bitch? In the clip above, Zac and Fag & Hag rip apart the worst of the bunch, while Nina merely sits there with< a look of disgust and confusion on her face. That said, it's always best when the deeezyners get weird challenges like this where they have to make clothes out of weird stuff like candy, because that's when you can really see their raw creativity emerge. We would've thought with the weirdness this challenge would've allowed, Elisa would've knocked this one of the park, but alas, it turns out that La La Land is much different place than Candyland.

The Nose Knows

The Nose Knows
I first spotted these Lladro candles (yes, the porcelain figurine company) at Colette in Paris and was immediately drawn in by the Dali-esque nose carved into the front of the vase.

These would be right at home in a modern abode, don’tcha think?

More More Sale: From Helmut Lang, Karen Zambos, LAMB, Etc

Honestly we just don’t know where to start with all this sale stuff, but as we figure it out, we will gravitate to the cashmere things, and the coat things, because it is still cold as fuck. Above: Ella Moss cashmere dress, was $304, now $152

Porny Abercrombie & Fitch Catalog To Make Triumphant Return To Store Shelves! [Rag Trade]

 • Holy Aryan Smut Closet Case Pride, the A&F Quarterly is back and under the same old management? Have you ever looked at this catalog? Click to see enlarged Heidi Klum!
 • …anyway, I’m not sure it was possible to actually purchase clothes with it, because there didn’t even seem to be any clothes displayed in it. (Also missing: Black people.) But there were a lot of naked tits and weird date-rapey advice columns and stuff until CEO Mike Jeffries decided he was “bored” with the stale pornyness of it all. Big mistake! Look at American Apparel! [Fashion Week Daily]
 • Hannah Montana is an icon of neo biker chic style. [NY Times]
 • To attract men — and one assumes, Jezebel editors! — beauty salons are offering free Sam Adams, gin and scotch and pool tables. [WSJ]
 • Blind item guessing game, Arden WOHLcat edition. “Which socialite and vague designer was so high on ecstasy on New Year’s Eve that she fell out of her cab on her way to a tiny, exclusive, and smoke filled tavern in the West Village? She might not have even remembered the next day, if it weren’t for the massive bruise on her…” [Fashionista]

Dilemmas, Dilemmas: Abercrombie or AA?

Dilemmas, Dilemmas: Abercrombie or AA?

We are still obsessed with our new search box. Today we asked ourselves the question, after asking ourselves
where we had put the waffles and why our apartment is still such a mess: With which brand do we have more serious moral aggravations: American Apparel or Abercrombie & Fitch? They’re both peddling sex (and we finally got to write "peddling sex"! Is a classic cliche we now embrace). It’s only, like, AA is peddling it to art school students, and A&F is peddling it to Spring Breakers. Given our academic allegiances, we need to go with the former, but queasily. What we really want is a clothing brand that doesn’t advertise at all, like that No-Ad sunscreen. All we know is we saw a yogurt ad on TV yesterday that featured not one but two models in bikinis, and it’s like: Can we not immediately move somewhere there is neither TV, nor models? We will, however, keep the yogurt.

Today’s searches!
