Heidi Klum Cracks On Britney Spears While Visiting Ellen [Clips]

It’s becoming more and more apparent how awesome Heidi Klum is. Seriously, we sort of want to hate her, if only because she can poop out babies and then model lingerie in a runway show like 2 days later. But we can’t help but sort of love her, especially after she told Oprah that she fell in love with Seal when she noticed that he had a giant peen. Today she was on Ellen to promote season four of Project Runway. When Ellen asked her what we can expect from the new season, she replied, “The same shit.” She rules! Also, talked about how Britney Spears showed up uninvited to her Halloween party, and then joked that Britney gave her some childcare pointers. Love. Her.

Behind the mask..

Time was when I could not get enough of Isabella Fiore. But after a while I kept feeling like I was seeing the same look over, and over, and over. It was repetitive, and boring.
But I never give up on anything, and so I decided to look through some fresh offerings from If… On the whole not terribly exciting, but one bag that did catch my eye was the Masquerade Parade.

A bit simpler (and perhaps lighter too?) than previous Isabella Fiore bags this does still have stuff going on. 2 pockets, 3 zippers…but the actual adornments show restraint. A pattern that is almost passementerie like and resembles butterflies, though I think the intent was to bring to mind masks, is feminine, and adds just enough interest. On the reverse side, is a single zipper, and a more intricate appliqued pattern in the same patent look.
The bag can be carried messenger style via a detachable strap which can be added to the top or middle of the bag if you like a foldover style. The braided top handles add a third carrying method, and the one I would prefer…it just looks more like a tote than shoulder bag. Best of all, it’s on sale. Originally $725, it’s reduced to $435, from Adasa.

Cry for Help

So this will probably rank as one of Style Bubble’s oddest posts but I’m hoping people will understand my brutal honesty and say that this is a cry of desperation.  I have always maintained that I’m very happy/content with my non-fashion related full-time job, leaving me to enjoy fashion and write this blog as an extra-curricular activity.

However of late, I’m coming to the point whereby I’m juggling a gazillion things at one time and amidst my confusion, I have suddenly taken on more than I can handle.  As I ponder what it is that I would like to do with my life, I’m trying various things on for size and branching out from my blogging cocoon.  Which gets me to my next point.  I will be styling a shoot on the 25th Nov and with my body tied to my office desk on the weekdays, I’m lookng for someone who is willing and able to pick up clothes for the shoot on my behalf on the 23rd and returning them on the 26th, after the shoot.

See how odd this is becoming?  Ideally, that person will be very familiar with getting around London and be quite bus/tube fluent.  I can cover travel and lunch costs as well as a nominal wage.  By no means am I reaching out through the blog because I have some sort of self-inflated idea of myself (I don’t flatter myself that people out there would lavish the thought of working for me…) but anyone with a few free days and a love for handling clothes might get some benefits out of it.   If anyone is at all interested, please email me for further details.   Or you can laugh at the ludicrous-ness of this post.  Either reaction would be much appreciated.

Emma’s “Dorothy” Shoes & Pediped’s Holiday 2007 Collection [Style Tots]

This red patent shoes called Isabella by Pediped is part of the Pediped 2007 Holiday Collection . It’s called Isabella but we call it “Emma’s Dorothy Red Shoes”. Referring to Dorothy’s famous ruby slippers from Wizard of Oz of course. I think Pediped should change the name actually. “Dorothy” would be a more appropriate name for a pair of red shoes, don’t you think? .

This pair of red shoes is actually the focal point of our upcoming Christmas picture. I based our outfit of “Red and White” theme from this Pediped shoes.

Just like Emma’s first Pediped shoes, this “Dorothy” aka Isabella shoes is from Auntie Star.

We Heart Portland! The Office Edition

So we were in Portland last week, and can we just say, we are totally pro-Portland, in a way we are not pro-many other various cities. That we will not name. Because maybe we just sa the wrong stuff. But. Portland! Totally loved it.

Office was one of our very last stops, but we loved it so much. Especially the Amy Ruppel show in the back. Gallery + office supplies = true happiness. And if we had $850 (which we sadly do not, although who knows what we’ll find on the sidewalk today), we would totally buy this. Amy Ruppel, we heart you.
