The clip shows of ANTM are so much better now than they were in previous cycles, since it’s mostly unaired footage. We got to see a little bit more of Spontaniouse. Why the hell didn’t they keep her around? And how about that sit down TyTy had with the girls and “Dani” about the pressures in the modeling industry to lose weight (replete with voice overs for the lines she fucked up)? Trust us, we know what she’s getting at with the body image stuff and we are into it. But she’s so arbitrary with this shit. One minute she’s telling the girls to not compromise who they are and to stay true to themselves, and the minute they even have a questioning look on their faces during makeover day, they’re practically crucified for not “wanting it enough.” So according to Tyra, it’s OK to shed a few locks, but not a few pounds, for a job. Then just before the girls leave the room she says, “Don’t obsess about your weight.” Uh, OK, 161.
And just because it’s not the same without a little bit of Heather in our lives:

One of the things I always appreciated about Hogan was that it was a sporty company that relied on design more than flashy over sized logos and monograms. The carrier of a Hogan knew what she had and how much it cost, and didn’t need to advertise it to the world.
But, alas, most companies eventually succumb to the pressure of being able to turn the customer into a walking billboard, and buckle, Hogan has.

A sporty style rolled duffel, with authentic gym accents like a canvas shoulder strap, reduced to handbag size and glammed up in a very bright gold, this bag is flash on a handle. I’m impressed that someone showed restraint and didn’t cover the logo with crystals, just in case the bag was too subtle.
When all is said and done, it does bring a Hogan to mind…Hulk. Hopefully, he picked up a few for his wife, and daughter, Brooke. Not everyday you can walk into Bergdorfs and pick a personalized bag off the rack. even if you have to shell out $1,050 for it.
The Sacca Piccola (does that mean “washed up wrestler” in Italian?) from the Italian Hogan is available at Bergdorf Goodman.

Saw a couple of 2-piece suits to keep the baby girl warm and cozy. Originally $7.99 each, the sets each had the 75% off tag sale from AAFES.

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. First the Eee PC gets reviewed, then it gets ripped apart, in this case by the always curious folks at TweakTown. While there’s not too many surprises on the inside, TweakTown’s organized destruction of the budget-friendly laptop is nothing if not thorough, including eight pages of pictures and descriptions of virtually every component. Like most others, they also seem to have been fairly impressed by the laptop as a whole, saying it is “perfectly positioned to prevail,” although they admit it’s “not for everyone.” Check out a few more pics after the break, and hit up the read link below for the full blow-by-blow action.

Tim Hamilton is an up & coming NY fashion designer, the guy was even nominated for Swarovski Award for Menswear in 2007, right after one year of his menswear launch! Came across this post from Men.Style.Com, Tim Hamilton’s menswear is occupying 350 square feet of space in Den. However, looking at the price of the products; one really needs to work hard…..
